No Pain… no Gain!
Arachidonic Acid is some amazing stuff, and we’re excited to bring it to you in super concentrated form. With just a few doses you’ll trigger substantial (and sometimes painful!) inflammation within your muscle tissue, which sets of a cascade of muscle-building events. Arachidonic Acid is so powerful that its one of the only supplements recommended by the “Steroid Bible” as being comparable to Steroids while being a non hormonal supplement.
We are proud to offer PURE Arachidonic Acid without the useless fillers another brand uses. Thus you get more active ingredient per capsule. There is 350mg of pure Arachidonic Acid per capsule. 4 capsules contains 1,400mg of Arachidonic Acid. There are 120 Capsules per bottle making this the best priced Pure Arachidonic Acid available. This is as much as can be fit into a capsule because the powder is lightweight and needs to be compressed into the capsule. So if you hear of any other brands claiming more per capsule I wouldn’t believe it if its actually pure.
Much like Steroids, Arachidonic Acid amplifies the results of intense exercise*. Without intense exercise Arachidonic Acid will not do anything. This contrasts Ostamuscle which builds muscle with or without exercise. Arachidonic Acid is a fatty acid inside your muscle cells and it is responsible for that sore feeling you get after working out. Notice how with frequent exercise of the same muscle the soreness diminishes… One of the reasons for that is the Arachidonic Acid stores in the muscle become depleted. Its job is to trigger inflammation inside the muscle that causes a cascade of muscle building and strength increasing adaptations. The more inflammation the greater the anabolic response. Athletes and fitness enthusiasts that train frequently have depleted their Arachidonic Acid stores.
By supplementing with Arachidonic Acid you will refill the stores inside the muscle and get more inflammation inside the muscle than you have felt before. The harder you train and the more Arachidonic Acid you take the greater the inflammation in the muscle and therefore the greater the anabolic response that follows for the next 48 hours.
Arachidonic acid is a natural fatty acid found in some foods in small amounts including milk. It is also added in small amounts to infant and toddler formula. It is an important regulator of inflammation in the body which is a necessary metabolic process for health.
Caution: Like most any supplement you want to cycle Arachidonic Acid to give your body a break and re-sensitize. The standard protocol is usually 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off. However, use common sense and understand the mechanism of how this supplement works… If you are training particularly hard one week then take more that week. If you are taking a week off or not working out hard, then use that week as a break.
This supplement stacks EXTREMELY WELL WITH ANABOLIC STEROIDS. This is because the increased inflammation in the muscle will be met with increased hormonal stimulation for synergistic muscle and strength stimulation from two different angles.
This supplement also works well between steroid cycles as a bridge and during PCT (Post Cycle Therapy). It does so by amplifying the inflammation response thus making the muscles think they worked out even harder than they did (thus simulating the effects of harder workouts that steroids cause).
Testimonials dictate the effective dosage is somewhere between 2-4 capsules per day. There is a slight preference it be taken with food or taken before or after a workout. Adjust dosage based on soreness. If the soreness is too painful then reduce the dosage. If you are not feeling enough soreness then either you need to increase the dosage or you are not working out with appropriate intensity to stimulate muscular adaptation and hypertrophy.
Last note of caution: Although this product causes inflammation in athletes primarily inside the muscle cells, individuals sensitive to inflammation in other parts of their bodies should be particularly careful with the dosage and monitoring their bodies response. Taking Fish Oil and eating a healthy diet full of healthy fats such as avocado, olive oil, chia seeds, etc. will reduce the inflammation in the rest of the body thus allowing maximum dosage of Arachidonic Acid to stimulate muscle growth.
This product is NOT banned in any sports and despite being so powerful it is LEGAL. This is an Athlete’s secret weapon as its one of the few performance enhancing supplements that is not banned by the WADA and Athletic Commission!!!
Arachidonic acid is marketed as an anabolic bodybuilding supplement in a variety of products. Supplementation of arachidonic acid (1,500 mg/day for 8 weeks) has been shown to increase lean body mass, strength, and anaerobic power in experienced resistance-trained men. This was demonstrated in a placebo-controlled study at the University of Tampa. Thirty men (aged 20.4 ± 2.1 years) took arachidonic acid or a placebo for 8 weeks, and participated in a controlled resistance-training program. After 8 weeks, Lean Body Mass (LBM) had increased significantly, and to a greater extent, in the ARA group (1.62 kg) vs. placebo (0.09 kg) (p<0.05). The change in muscle thickness was also greater in the ARA group (.47 cm) than placebo (.25 cm) (p<0.05). Wingate anaerobic power increased to a greater extent in ARA group as well (723.01 to 800.66 W) vs. placebo (738.75 to 766.51 W). Lastly, the change in total strength was significantly greater in the ARA group (109.92 lbs.) compared to placebo (75.78 lbs.). These results suggest that ARA supplementation can positively augment adaptations in strength and skeletal muscle hypertrophy in resistance-trained men.
An earlier clinical study examining the effects of 1,000 mg/day of arachidonic acid for 50 days found supplementation to enhance anaerobic capacity and performance in exercising men. During this study, a significant group–time interaction effect was observed in Wingate relative peak power (AA: 1.2 ± 0.5; P: -0.2 ± 0.2 W•kg-1, p=0.015). Statistical trends were also seen in bench press 1RM (AA: 11.0 ± 6.2; P: 8.0 ± 8.0 kg, p=0.20), Wingate average power (AA:37.9 ± 10.0; P: 17.0 ± 24.0 W, p=0.16), and Wingate total work (AA: 1292 ± 1206; P: 510 ± 1249 J, p=0.087). AA supplementation during resistance-training promoted significant increases in relative peak power with other performance related variables approaching significance. These findings support the use of AA as an ergogenic.
@TonyHuge on Arachidonic acid -vs- X-Factor:
I’ve taken ARASYN in x-factor before. It definitely works but it is not more potent or if it is then it’s the difference between 5 capsules enhanced athlete ara versus 4 capsules x-factor or something similar. The reason they make it sound more potent is they mix it in a blend of other oils and say 40 percent ARA but they don’t clarify that it’s only 40 percent of that one small line item ingredient so they are hoping people overlook that. They fill the capsules with a whole big of other cheap vitamins and fish oil to make the capsules larger and hope people miscalculate the 40 percent ara being of the whole capsule contents.
The real way to tell is to take it and see. I would take 4 capsules of x-favor before and it definitely made me more sore and worked. Now I take 4-5 enhanced athlete ara and get the same effect. At 4-5 enhanced athlete ara per day I have to take a break after about 5 days because the soreness is so intense.
One more note on ARASYN is that it’s a marketing ploy. They didn’t patent ara. They can’t patent it. Instead they patented the combination of the other useless ingredients they include as fillers so they can sell it for way more money. It’s a brilliant marketing ploy but it’s all a trick against the uninformed consumer which is 90 percent of consumers.
